Amraal Lambert (#Gai-|nub, 1774-1864), famous old captain of the Lamberts or Khauas Nama (Kai|khauan). Lambert was born a slave in the Clanwilliam district (South Africa). He and his followers moved north and settled at Gobabis in Namibia.
