Jacobus Kloppers - Seebriewe

This series of paintings describes the meeting of land and sea. The rock pools and sloops of the coast where sea water, sand and stones get shaken up in a heave of tides and waves. The arbitrary sea-foam salt lines are like writings describing the all-continuing and repetitive forces of Mother Earth.
