Lambert Lambert was captain of the Lamberts or Khauas Nama (Kai|khauan) from 1865 to 1868. He succeeded his father, Amraal Lambert, who was born a slave in 1774 in the Clanwilliam district (South Africa). The Lamberts, who were allies of the guerrilla fighter Hendrik Witbooi, lived at Gobabis in Namibia.
