Jan Jonker Afrikaner (|Haramumab or |Hoa-|arab, 1820-1889), last captain of the Orlam Afrikaners (|Aixa|aen). During the 19th century the Afrikaners, who originated from the Tulbagh district in South Africa, were the most influential of all the Orlam groups in southern Africa. The Afrikaner polity disintegrated after Jan Jonker Afrikaner was shot by his own son, Phanuel, in front of Hendrik Witbooi.
